Deduplication Windows

« Back to Glossary Index

A deduplication window is a period during which duplicate events are disregarded for attribution purposes. This is designed to filter out what are typically user errors.

For example, when a click de-duplication window of seven seconds is set, if a user clicks an ad more than once during that seven seconds, it is counted as only one click and the second click is marked as a duplicate.
